It’s hard to get a 2-year-old to do anything.

Well, leave it to our favorite New Zealander dad from the YouTube channel How to DAD (aka Jordan Watson) to perfectly manage and teach toddlers with ease and grace.

You may already know Watson from such videos as “How to Hold a Baby” and “How to Talk to a Baby.” Well babies grow up to be toddlers, and Watson’s hilarious, deadpan tutorials have upgraded too.

This time he shows us how to teach toddlers to sing.

In the featured clip, Watson appears with his 2-year-old daughter, Nala. And as you will soon find out, this video is not so much about truly teaching a toddler to sing, but rather it’s about showcasing one of the most adorable little girls in all of New Zealand.

Watson takes Nala through the paces and “teaches” her about many musical genres — from hip-hop and rhythm and blues, to classical and opera. OK, OK, you got me. This is not about some toddler singing prodigy. Also, there’s not much teaching involved; rather it’s the most adorable game of copycat you might ever see.

The truth is, you probably won’t ever learn anything from Watson’s tutorial videos, but you’ll always, at the very least, enjoy a sensible chuckle or even an outright guffaw. And sometimes that’s all we can ask for.
